Airing on NBC from 9 AM to noon across all time zones on Thursday November 25th, the parade route making its way across New York City includes larger-than-life balloon attractions, balloonicles, and floats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/macys_parade_banner.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13833\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of our favorite brand mascots will be returning to the parade along with some new faces. Keep your eyes peeled for this year\u2019s lineup of characters!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-ronald-mcdonald\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ronald McDonald<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/ronald_mcdonald.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13836\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The beloved McDonald\u2019s brand mascot is returning to the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a new look! <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/throwback-ronald-mcdonald\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ronald McDonald\u2019s balloon<\/a> will be entering its fifth design since he first joined the parade lineup in 1987. Look for the big red heart in Ronald\u2019s hands. According to Macy\u2019s, Ronald is sharing his heart with everyone during a time when we all need some extra love and smiles. Seeing the heart is sure to inspire spectators to \u201csee a smile, share a smile\u201d amongst one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/big_red_shoe_car.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13831\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ronald\u2019s Big Red Shoe Car will also be returning this year. Ronald McDonald himself will ride in this unique vehicle \u2014 approximately the size of a man\u2019s size 266 shoe \u2014 with his McDonaldland pals, Grimace and the Hamburglar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-sinclair-dino\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sinclair Dino<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sinclair_dino.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13837\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pronounced DYE-NO, the bright green Sinclair Dino is back in the Macy\u2019s march to represent Sinclair Oil Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dino first <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/7-dino-mite-facts-might-not-know-dino-sinclair-dinosaur\/\">made his balloon debut in 1963<\/a>. Decades later, he made a roaring comeback in 2015 with a newly refreshed balloon. After spending the summer travelling cross-country to visit with fans at Sinclair gas stations, the Apatosaurus is thrilled to be back in the Big Apple and on the Macy\u2019s Parade route as a giant balloon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/baby_dinos.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13830\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dino isn\u2019t coming alone! Watch for the newly hatched Baby DINO balloonicles on the ground level. Like the Sinclair DINO balloon, these Baby DINO balloonicles will also be appearing in life-size form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-tiptoe\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tiptoe<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/tiptoe_macys.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13840\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tiptoe, a special blue reindeer that was first introduced in <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/DwIUIrk56cQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Macy\u2019s 2021 holiday ad campaign<\/a>, will be making her balloon debut in this year\u2019s parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, her balloon is extra special. Tiptoe is the first-ever balloon puppet that will march down the parade route with the help of puppeteers. This allows her balloon to prance through the streets of NYC and encourage spectators to believe in themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-pillsbury-doughboy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pillsbury Doughboy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/pillsbury_doughboy.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13834\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoo-hoo! Poppin\u2019 Fresh (AKA the <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/design-evolution-pillsbury-doughboy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pillsbury Doughboy<\/a>) is back in the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade as a giant balloon. Millions of Americans will delight in his signature giggle. Meanwhile, countless Thanksgiving bakers will be inspired by his home-baked holiday treats<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-rexy-in-the-city\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rexy in the City<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who is Rexy? This T-Rex is the official brand mascot for luxury leather goods label COACH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/rexy_coach.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13835\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coach debuted its first float in the 2019 Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This marked the first time a luxury fashion brand received its own float. This year\u2019s float promises to be a glittering spectacle with Rexy, a fearlessly fashionable dino, inspiring fashionistas everywhere to be true to who they really are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-smokey-bear\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Smokey Bear<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/smokey_bear.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13839\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only you can prevent wildfires with the good advice and guidance of <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/smokey-bear-turns-75-why-the-wildfire-icon-matters-now-more-than-ever\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Smokey Bear<\/a>, the official spokesbear for the U.S. Department of Agriculture \u2014 Forest Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smokey Bear, incidentally, is the star of the longest-running PSA ad campaign in American history. Smokey first made his parade debut in 1966. Today, his giant character balloon acts as a reminder to encourage good practices in wildfire safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-harvest-in-the-valley\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Harvest in the Valley<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/green_giant.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13832\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ho, ho, ho! The Green Giant\u2019s \u201cHarvest in the Valley\u201d float is making its triumphant return to the parade lineup. This float depicts the harvest of fall delights with the Green Giant kneeling to harvest the perfect ear of corn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Will the Green Giant\u2019s apprentice the <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/the-story-of-green-giants-sprout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Little Green Sprout<\/a> be on the float? Yes! Sprout will be gathering green beans.
