He\u2019s been busy with <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/bQa9Xbvm6XU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">work presentations<\/a> and made his <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/f9gQeeTEeUY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first (fiery) s\u2019mores<\/a> during a camping trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This October, the Gecko celebrates \u201cHappy GEICOween!\u201d in a new series of GEICO commercials from The Martin Agency. GEICOween may be the first time we\u2019ve ever seen the Gecko spooked to be entering a home, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-chilling-discoveries-await-upstairs-in-the-attic\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chilling Discoveries Await Upstairs In The Attic\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The premise of this GEICOween commercial is fairly straightforward. A new homeowner takes the GEICO Gecko up to explore his new attic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s half the fun of a new house: seeing what people left behind in the attic,\u201d the Gecko says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personally, the homeowner likes that he could save on homeowner\u2019s insurance with GEICO. In fact, he may like that perk more than he does the prospect of peeking and peering around the dark attic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/geico-attic-large-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11032\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attic is quite dusty at first glance. It\u2019s filled with old mementos left from past homeowners. One such memento is an old music box. It plays a haunting tune and has a small pop-up ballerina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Geico is immediately charmed, not alarmed by the music box. \u201cAw, it\u2019s a tiny dancer!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-lights-on\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lights On\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A chilling scene waits once the homeowner turns on the attic lights. Motionless mannequins are seen seated around a table. Some have their eyes closed. Others are missing bits of plaster from their faces. The music box continues to play in the background, adding to the creepy ambience of the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/geico-attic-large-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11033\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How long has this mannequin setup been here, exactly? Both the homeowner and Gecko are speechless for a moment, unsure of what they have stumbled upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell,\u201d the Gecko nervously stammers, \u201cEnjoy your house!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNope. No, thank you!\u201d The homeowner firmly replies, stepping back from the creepy teatime ritual. He heads back down the stairs with the Gecko following closely behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-twist-ending\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Twist Ending<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9STzCNiCVNQ\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/9STzCNiCVNQ<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019d think by the end of the commercial that the homeowner might leave his new house. However, extended footage of the spot reveals he returned to the attic to have tea with the mannequins. The homeowner even learned one of their names: Eleanor.
