Cheetos\u2019 Chester Cheetah is officially the latest iteration of KFC\u2019s Colonel Harland Sanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/kfc_cheetos.jpeg\" alt=\"KFC-Cheetos-Hero-PR-Still\" class=\"wp-image-10628\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-the-first-brand-mascot-to-portray-colonel-sanders\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The First Brand Mascot To Portray Colonel Sanders<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the last few years, several celebrities have stepped into Colonel Sanders\u2019 famous white suit. Everyone from comedian Jim Gaffigan to country musician <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/can-brands-agencies-redefine-female-representation-brand-mascots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reba McEntire<\/a> have put their own \u201cHowdy folks!\u201d spin on the legendary icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pop culture icons have also depicted the Colonel. <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/who-is-colonel-bear-kfcs-new-mascot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Colonel Bear<\/a>, a small plastic honey bear dressed as the KFC spokesicon, debuted in early 2019 for KFC\u2019s Hot Honey Chicken. A few months later, Colonel Sanders was portrayed as <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/colonel-robocop-makes-his-kfc-debut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Colonel Robocop<\/a>. He reinforced rules for families to try KFC $20 fill-up buckets in extremely short timelines.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ldRVBapUOCY\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/ldRVBapUOCY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, KFC\u2019s ad agency Wieden+Kennedy has appointed Chester Cheetah as the new Colonel. It\u2019s a bold move, since he\u2019s the first brand mascot to ever depict Colonel Sanders. But why was another character chosen to help sell fried chicken?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-kfc-debuts-cheetos-sandwich\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>KFC Debuts Cheetos Sandwich<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ever find yourself munching on a KFC chicken sandwich and thinking, \u201cYou know what this needs? Cheetos.\u201d Say no more. The Cheetos Sandwich is the latest KFC partnership with Cheetos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/kfc_cheetos_sandwich.jpeg\" alt=\"KFC-Cheetos-Sandwich-Image\" class=\"wp-image-10627\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Launching June 28, the Cheetos Sandwich takes Extra Crispy taste to the next level. An Extra Crispy chicken filet is drizzled with special Cheetos sauce. It gets layered over Cheetos and mayo on a toasted bun. Crunchy and cheesy, together at last!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cheetos Sandwich will be available at KFC through the end of July. Want more? It\u2019s a tough call. Maybe Julius Pringles from Pringles would be up for it?
