They\u2019re relaxing in the hotel\u2019s hot tub, but are perplexed to see they\u2019re not the only ones in it. A lobster companion hangs out on the far end of the hot tub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is no ordinary lobster. He\u2019s chatty, and a big fan of water jets. This nameless lobster appears to be thriving in a setting most of his peers wouldn\u2019t be caught dead in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI can\u2019t believe it.\u201d The husband says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat there\u2019s a lobster in our hot tub?\u201d His wife deadpans without taking her eyes off of the crustacean in front of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The husband whips out his phone and reveals what he can\u2019t believe \u2014 how easy GEICO made it to save big money on their car insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/geico_lobster_2.png\" alt=\"geico_lobster_2\" class=\"wp-image-10474\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-a-claw-some-companion\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Claw-Some Companion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you really do when you\u2019re in a hot tub with a lobster? Talk him up! The lobster, as it turns out, is an excellent conversationalist. Voiced by vocal talent H Michael Croner, the lobster\u2019s thrilled to hear about true love. He even admits that he\u2019s a bit of a commitment-phobe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the background, we notice a chef come out of the hotel. The chef is scanning the area, in hot pursuit of a specific swimmer. He can\u2019t get far on dry land\u2026 so the hot tub is the only place he could logically be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOh shoot!\u201d The lobster immediately submerges his entire body into the bubbling water. Once the chef\u2019s back is turned and he\u2019s moved on, our lobster hero bobs back up from the water. He\u2019s a little redder than before, but thankful he survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat guy\u2019s the worst,\u201d the lobster informs the newlyweds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/geico_lobster.jpg\" alt=\"geico_lobster\" class=\"wp-image-10476\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-geico-s-believe-it-ad-campaigns\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GEICO\u2019s \u201cBelieve It!\u201d Ad Campaigns<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This lobster spot makes another addition to GEICO\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geico.com\/more\/geico-community\/commercials\/believe-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Believe It!<\/a>\u201d campaign. The campaign circles around the idea that some things in life are so awesome, you almost can\u2019t believe they\u2019re happening. Kind of like how GEICO helps ordinary customers save big on their insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our talking lobster is along for that ride. We don\u2019t know much about the guy, but hope to see more of him in <a href=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/these-are-the-top-5-geico-commercials-of-all-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GEICO spots<\/a> soon.
