Fans will be tuning in to NBC on Thursday November 22nd from 9 AM to noon EST for the festive fun. There, they can catch their favorite balloons, floats, musicians, and Santa Claus making a rare appearance from the North Pole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which brand mascots are slated to show up at this year\u2019s parade? Let\u2019s see which icons will inflate into giant balloons, receive their own Balloonicle, and join the lineup with floats!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/dino_sinclair_macys_parade.jpg\" alt=\"dino_sinclair_macys_parade\" class=\"wp-image-9764\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1;width:640px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-sinclair-s-dino\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sinclair\u2019s Dino<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is <a href=\"http:\/\/360.advertisingweek.com\/7-dino-mite-facts-might-not-know-dino-sinclair-dinosaur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">America\u2019s most famous Apatosaurus<\/a> and the face of the Sinclair Oil Corporation. Dino (pronounced DYE-NO) is back in NYC this year with his classic parade balloon! This year\u2019s balloon dimensions measure at 72-feet long and 24-feet wide, making him 36-feet tall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dino has long been a fixture on the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade circuit. The character\u2019s balloon debuted in 1963, and retired in 1977. He made a dino-mite comeback in 2015 with a refreshed, 72-foot long balloon and has been floating the friendly skies ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ronald_mcdonald_macys_parade.png\" alt=\"ronald_mcdonald_macys_parade\" class=\"wp-image-9765\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5316239316239317;width:896px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-ronald-mcdonald\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ronald McDonald<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McDonald\u2019s Chief Happiness Officer can\u2019t wait to help fans celebrate the holiday season! The iconic clown\u2019s balloon measures at 61-feet long, 29-feet wide, and 67-feet tall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will be Ronald\u2019s 17th appearance in the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade. <a href=\"http:\/\/360.advertisingweek.com\/every-brand-mascot-featured-2017-macys-thanksgiving-day-parade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ronald McDonald\u2019s Parade balloon debuted in 1966<\/a> and has since expanded to new, delightful heights. Accompanying Ronald\u2019s balloon will be the McDonald\u2019s Big Red Shoe Car. This unique car will feature Ronald McDonald riding down the Parade route with the talented \u201cMcKids.\u201d Want to guess its size? The Big Red Shoe Car is equal to a men\u2019s size 266 show!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pillsbury_doughboy_macys_parade.png\" alt=\"pillsbury_doughboy_macys_parade\" class=\"wp-image-9766\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.7037037037037037;width:418px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-pillsbury-doughboy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pillsbury Doughboy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a bird, it\u2019s a plane, it\u2019s an a-dough-able giggle! Poppin\u2019 Fresh returns to New York City with his larger-than-life balloon, which officially made its debut in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Doughboy\u2019s balloon is 54-feet long, 34-feet wide, and stands at 46-feet tall when inflated. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.generalmills.com\/2013\/11\/a-big-doughboy-in-the-big-apple\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">90 handlers<\/a> help keep Poppin\u2019 Fresh grounded on the Parade\u2019s route. And, in case you were wondering, more than four million Pillsbury Crescent Rolls would be required to make a \u201cdough-sized\u201d version of this balloon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/aflac_ballonicle.png\" alt=\"aflac_ballonicle\" class=\"wp-image-9767\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.6587837837837838;width:390px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-the-aflac-duck\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Aflac Duck<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Aflac!<\/em> The Aflac Duck will be one of the several \u201cBalloonicles\u201d in attendance at this year\u2019s Parade. For those unfamiliar with the word, a Balloonicle is a Macy\u2019s Parade innovation. It\u2019s a hybrid cold air balloon with a self-propelled vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Aflac Duck, the world\u2019s most famous spokesduck, will be returning for his eighth Parade this year. His Balloonicle dimensions measure at 15-feet wide and 30-feet tall. This spokesduck is arriving back to NYC dressed for the day\u2019s chilly temperatures, with a glowing heart encased by heart-shaped wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby_dinos_balloonicle.png\" alt=\"baby_dinos_balloonicle\" class=\"wp-image-9768\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.585409252669039;width:891px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-baby-dinos\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Baby Dinos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They\u2019ve hatched! Sinclair Oil Corporation has sent three newborn Baby Dinos to join the Parade\u2019s lineup, along with Dino\u2019s float. The Baby Dinos can be spotted as Ballonicles and are all Apatosaurus dinosaurs. They already have us \u201craptor\u201d around our fingers from their cuteness!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/green_giant_float_macys_parade.png\" alt=\"green_giant_float_macys_parade\" class=\"wp-image-9769\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5109983079526226;width:893px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-harvest-in-the-valley-green-giant\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Harvest In The Valley (Green Giant)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more than 100 years, Green Giant vegetables have been part of Thanksgiving Day meals. The Green Giant is bringing back his Harvest in the Valley float, which debuted in 2017. The float includes a colorful stage featuring corn, green beans, and more vegetables. The Green Giant himself kneels on the stage to harvest a perfect ear of corn.
