This year\u2019s celebration airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock is slated to be the largest celebration yet with 22 giant balloons, 33 floats, seven balloonicles and many more festivities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among those balloons and floats are familiar iconic characters, like Ronald McDonald, Smokey Bear, and the Pillsbury Doughboy, along with new faces. Ahead of Thanksgiving morning, check out who to expect during this year\u2019s star-studded parade route below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beagle Scout Snoopy | Peanuts Worldwide<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/snoopy_peanuts.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peanuts\u2019 icon, <strong>Snoopy<\/strong>, and bestie Woodstock, are back for Thanksgiving in New York City! The Snoopy character balloon is designed to celebrate the 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Beagle Scouts. Keep your eyes peeled for the Camp Snoopy float where more of the Peanuts gang can be spotted having fun, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Pillsbury Doughboy | Pillsbury<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/pillsbury_doughboy.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Pillsbury Doughboy<\/strong> is ready to lend a hand, and a giggle, in the kitchen especially on Thanksgiving. Poppin\u2019 Fresh is back to take flight in the Manhattan skies this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re always delighted to see the Doughboy in the Parade, even if we\u2019re a little surprised that this year\u2019s balloon is keeping with his traditional white neckerchief. Has anyone else noticed Poppin\u2019 Fresh has recently been spotted on social media and in advertisements wearing a new, blue neckerchief?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ronald McDonald | McDonald&rsquo;s<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/ronald_mcdonald.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">America\u2019s favorite clown, <strong>Ronald McDonald<\/strong>, is returning to the Macy\u2019s Parade in air and on land. Viewers will be able to spot the Ronald McDonald balloon flying down the route with a big smile and heart in his hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On land, Ronald will cruise down the streets in the famous Big Red Shoe Car float. Keep your eyes peeled for the <strong>Hamburglar<\/strong> and <strong>Grimace<\/strong>, two beloved McDonaldland characters that will be joining him Thanksgiving morning in the Big Red Shoe Car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sinclair DINO &amp; Baby DINO | HF Sinclair<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/sinclair_dino.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in the Big Apple, it\u2019s the <strong>Sinclair DINO<\/strong> and <strong>Baby DINO<\/strong>! Keep your eyes peeled for the bright green Apatosaurus balloon and the freshly hatched trio of Baby DINOs balloonicles in this year\u2019s Parade route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Smokey Bear | USDA Forest Service<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/smokey_bear.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Smokey Bear<\/strong>, the USDA\u2019s official spokesbear, is back in the Macy\u2019s Parade lineup after celebrating his <a href=\"https:\/\/advertisingweek.com\/happy-80th-birthday-smokey-bear\/\">80<sup>th<\/sup> birthday<\/a> this year. Spectators watching his balloon are reminded of his important message \u201cOnly You Can Prevent Wildfires\u201d to encourage good practices in wildfire safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tiptoe | Macy&rsquo;s<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/tiptoe_macys.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Macy\u2019s courageous reindeer mascot, <strong>Tiptoe<\/strong>, is returning to the Macy\u2019s Parade as a balloon puppet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What\u2019s a balloon puppet? Think giant balloon on land with many puppeteers helping guide the balloon along. Tiptoe is the first-ever balloon puppet that will be heading down the Parade route and she has plenty of puppeteers that will be assisting her as she prances forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HARIBO Candy Cosmos<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/haribo_candy_cosmos.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new HARIBO Candy Cosmos float is simply out of this world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HARIBO debuts their first float during the Macy\u2019s Parade starring a balloon of their mascot <strong>Goldbear<\/strong>, tons of gummi treats like Twin Snakes, Frogs, and Rainbow Worms, and a shimmering rocket ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Geoffrey&rsquo;s Dazzling Dance Party | Toys&rdquo;R&rdquo;Us<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/geoffreys_dance_party_toysrus.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back by popular demand is everyone\u2019s favorite Toys\u201dR\u201dUs icon <strong>Geoffrey the Giraffe<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Geoffrey\u2019s Dazzling Dance Party float features Geoffrey as the Parade route DJ. Get ready to dance and play when you spot his float full of bright colors, balloons, and toys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Harvest In The Valley | Green Giant<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/harvest_in_the_valley_green_giant.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No Thanksgiving celebration is complete without plenty of vegetables picked by the <strong>Green Giant<\/strong> himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Watch out for the Green Giant\u2019s float which features a replica of the Giant holding ears of corn and reflecting on a fall harvest set in a rolling, lush landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pasta Knight | Rao&rsquo;s Homemade<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/raos_pasta_knight.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is it too soon to give the <strong>Pasta Knight <\/strong>from Rao\u2019s Homemade a nod in this roundup. Technically, the Pasta Knight \u2014 a play on the phrase \u201cpasta night,\u201d get it? \u2014 is not a brand mascot\u2026 yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But we feel like his debut is promising to slay indeed. Watch as the Pasta Knight, in armor covered in pasta shapes like rotelle, rigatoni, penne, fusilli, and more, faces off in an epic battle against a fire-breathing dragon. The Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs on Thursday, November 28 from 8:30 AM EST until noon on NBC and simulcast on Peacock.
