Most noticeably absent from 2025\u2019s lineup are the Sinclair Dino and Ronald McDonald along with the McDonald\u2019s Big Red Shoe Car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t let your hopes deflate over this news. Plenty of Thanksgiving favorites like the Pillsbury Doughboy and Green Giant are back in the 99th Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside new faces like the Serta Counting Sheep. Grab a plate filled with turkey and your favorite sides and dig into our roundup on the brand mascots joining this year\u2019s parade route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/the_counting_sheep_dream_generator.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Serta Counting Sheep<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some readers may remember the <a href=\"https:\/\/advertisingweek.com\/the-serta-counting-sheep-are-25-heres-how-theyll-celebrate-this-milestone-birthday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Serta Counting Sheep<\/a> celebrated their 25<sup>th<\/sup> birthday this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The iconic flock are the stars of their very first Macy\u2019s Parade float, a Dream Generator where just one pull of a lever equals a good night\u2019s sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/pillsbury_doughboy.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Pillsbury Doughboy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoo hoo! The <a href=\"https:\/\/advertisingweek.com\/how-the-pillsbury-doughboy-became-the-standout-brand-mascot-of-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pillsbury Doughboy<\/a>, who is turning 60 years young this year, is returning to the Macy\u2019s Parade in his signature massive balloon. His balloon is so big more than 250,000 crescent rolls can fit inside it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/green_giant_harvest_in_the_valley.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Harvest in the Valley<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Green Giant\u2019s Harvest in the Valley float is a salute to Thanksgiving\u2019s most popular vegetables. Both the Green Giant and Little Green Sprout make appearances on this float with the Green Giant kneeling to harvest ears of corn and Sprout gathering green beans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/smokey_bear.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Smokey Bear<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/advertisingweek.com\/happy-80th-birthday-smokey-bear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Smokey Bear<\/a> has spent the last eight decades advocating \u201cOnly You Can Prevent Wildfires\u201d in the longest-running public service initiative in U.S. history. We\u2019re delighted to see him return to the Macy\u2019s Parade and encouraging one and all with his familiar, important message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/goldbear_haribo.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Goldbear<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, the Haribo Goldbear made his debut in the 98<sup>th<\/sup> Macy\u2019s Parade with a larger-than-life balloon and \u201cCandy Cosmos\u201d float.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both the balloon and the float, the latter of which will be festooned in all sorts of sweet gummi treats, are back in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mario_nintendo.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mario<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mario, the star of countless Donkey Kong games and the face of Nintendo, is making his first-ever appearance as a Macy\u2019s Parade balloon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a partnership 20 years in the making, according to Jordan Dabby, Vice President, Partnership Marketing and Media at Macy\u2019s Parade &#038; Entertainment Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cApproximately 20 years ago when I first started working at Macy\u2019s, our Executive Producer had a dream: to bring Nintendo to the Parade. For years I tried\u2026.and for years it just didn\u2019t come together. There were close calls, but somehow it always slipped away. This knight is on a brave quest to banish dull weeknight dinners and face off against a fire breathing dragon. A closer examination of this float reveals it\u2019s full of pasta shapes like penne, rigatoni, fusilli and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/popicon.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/geoffreys_dance_party.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Geoffrey&rsquo;s Dazzling Dance Party<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before Santa Claus arrives to signal the end of the Parade, pump up the jam and get dancing with Toys\u201dR\u201dUs icon Geoffrey the Giraffe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This brightly lit float encourages kids of all ages to play, dance and sing along.
