This award show, which debuted at AWNewYork 2019, honours rising stars of the advertising and marketing industry. Winners will be selected based on a combination of proven achievements: demonstrable ability to affect organisational change, commitment to external impact, ability to mentor others and professional endorsements.

Join us as we kick off #AWEurope23 with a celebration of excellence where we get together to honour the women who are leading our industry. The crowd is mid-senior level and filled with decision-makers from publishers to agencies to brands — the guest list is packed. It’s a smaller event, so networking will be easy.

Raising the next generation of women leaders: Women take only 39% of CXO roles within the advertising industry, which does not proportionally represent the full diversity of our society. Our generation needs to strive to give the next one more opportunities so that today’s inequities, misrepresentation and gender pay gap will not continue and also better business results will be achieved. So how can today’s leaders take meaningful and measurable action to improve the representation of women in the CXO seats of our industry?

The Culture & Commerce Lunch Series similarly draws a senior-level audience and is a chance to experience great content and delicious food whilst networking in the beautiful Ray Davies room at BAFTA. Most lunch attendees will take a break from the day of programming at Picturehouse Central.

Influencer marketing has now earned a permanent place in brands’ and agencies’ always-on digital strategies. This brings new challenges for marketers who are being tasked with showing how creator campaigns stack up against more traditional marketing channels. In order to establish the true value creators bring, measuring the success of influencer marketing needs to go beyond social metrics. Only then can we compare with other established channels and understand the power influencer marketing can harness in the long term.
