Pillsbury Warms Hearts For The Holidays With First-Ever Ugly Christmas Sweaters

By Heather Taylor
Ho, ho, ho, and hoo, hoo, hoo! For the first time ever, Pillsbury is debuting two Ugly Christmas Sweaters for the 2018 holiday season starring their iconic mascot, the Pillsbury Doughboy.
How can I call these sweaters “ugly” when they’re actually a-dough-able? (It doesn’t have the same ring to it, but I digress.) Doughboy fans and foodies may choose between two festive tops: “Let It Dough” and “It’s Lit.”

Let It Dough features Poppin’ Fresh and his famous crescent rolls, alongside snowflakes, trees, and the phrase “let it dough” stitched into a blue background. The weather outside might be frightful, but wearing this sweater while baking at home makes it oh so delightful!

It’s Lit features the Doughboy like you’ve never seen him before. He’s rockin’ around a decorated Christmas tree with a string of twinkling lights around his neck. The aforementioned crescent rolls, snowflakes, and trees all make a returning appearance on festive bright red and green. The gifts are already under the tree, so we have a feeling Poppin’ Fresh’s cookies were a hit with Santa.
Want a sweater of your own? Getting one is as easy as checking off the nice list for presents this year.
- Head over to the Pillsbury Ugly Christmas Sweaters website.
- Pick your sweater, and its size, of choice.
- Enter your email to join the waitlist. Baby it’s cold outside, but these sweaters are hot, hot, hot! Each sweater is free (the customer must pay for shipping and handling), and actually sold out within the first two hours it debuted. Hang tight until they’re back in stock!
Already got a sweater? Wear it out! Pillsbury wants to see your Ugly Christmas Sweaters at parties and events. Share a photo on social and add the #Pillsbury hashtag to spread your holiday cheer (and giggles) with one and all!
