AWNewYork 2025: Everything You Need to Know Before the Event

Before we welcome you to The PENN District, we wanted to create a cheat sheet for the perfect Advertising Week experience, and this post contains everything you’ll need to know. If you are uncertain of anything, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at register@advertisingweek.com.

Registration and Obtaining Your Pass

All passes will be printed on-site, beginning at 8:00am on Monday, October 6. To ensure a smooth pickup process, please log in to your AW account before you arrive to claim and download your pass. We recommend arriving early to avoid long queues.

As part of our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of Advertising Week, we’ve eliminated plastic lanyards at all global events, so all passes will be printed on special cardstock. Please don’t try to print your pass at home because it won’t work.

Getting to Advertising Week New York

Advertising Week New York 2025 takes place at THE PENN DISTRICT. The venue’s address is 100 W. 33rd St. Our entry doors are halfway down the block (between 6th and 7th Aves.), closest to the loading dock and feature AW signage and greeting staff. Please avoid use of the (red-lettered) 100 W 33rd St. office building entrance, which is closer to 6th Ave

The venue is easily accessible via Penn Station, the Herald Square BDFM NQRW stop, the PATH train, the 34th St. 123 stop are a short walk from the 34th St. ACE stop. For trip planning, schedules and real-time service alerts, visit mta.info or the MTA app.

New York City has three nearby airports: LaGuardia (LGA), John F. Kennedy (JFK) and Newark (EWR). The nearest airport to the venue is EWR. To get to midtown Manhattan from EWR, take the airport tram to NJ Penn Station, and from there, it is a quick 20-minute train ride.

AWNewYork is also accessible by NYC Ferry and free connecting shuttle buses via the Midtown West/Pier 79 landing on the St. George route or the East 34th Street landing, which serves the Astoria, East River, and Soundview routes. Stay organized and navigate The PENN District with our easy-to-use app. Seamlessly log in with your Advertising Week account and access your saved schedule. Customize and bookmark sessions, discover speakers, explore the program and schedule meetings with other attendees.

Access your pass through the app! Be sure to assign and claim your pass, so it shows up in your app. You’ll be able to scan this for session entry, bypass venue entry lines and more.

Bring a Reusable Water Bottle

We ask that you please bring a reusable water bottle with you to THE PENN DISTRICT. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we will not have single-use cups available and water refilling stations will be located throughout the venue.

Fast Track

If you are a Platinum or Super Delegate pass holder, make sure you take advantage of AW Fast Track, our priority session queue. Platinum and Super Delegates can proceed directly to the priority line for unlimited sessions while on-site.
