ClimaTech: Everything You Need to Know Before the Event

Before we welcome you to ClimaTech 2024 in Boston, please take a look at this cheat sheet for the ideal event experience.

We can’t wait to see you!

Getting to ClimaTech 2024

ClimaTech 2024 takes place at MGM Music Hall of Fenway and Citizen’s House of Blues – both are adjacent Fenway Park on Lansdowne Street in Boston. Registration and credential pickup for all delegates is via MGM Music Hall’s front entrance at 2 Lansdowne Street, where a large digital marquee and branded greeters will direct your journey.

The venue is easily accessible via the Green Line to the Kenmore Stop, walk up Brookline Avenue towards Fenway Park and take a left onto Lansdowne Street. MGM Music Hall at Fenway will be at the end of the street on your right, and Citizen’s House of Blues will be mid-block on your left.

Amtrak and regional rail service to Back Bay Station allow for an easy transfer to Framingham/Worcester Line or Green Line T stations.

Limited parking is available via private lots on surrounding streets, we strongly encourage use of public transportation where possible. For driving directions, check here. If you use the SpotHero app, you can also reserve parking in advance.

Additionally, Boston Logan International Airport is nearby for those traveling from afar. The Back Bay MBTA bus line drops at Boylston Street for a short and direct ride.

Registration and Obtaining Your Pass

All passes will be printed on-site, beginning at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, June 4th. To ensure a smooth pickup process, please log in to your Climatech Account or refer to your confirmation email to claim and download the digital version of your pass. We recommend arriving early to avoid long queues.

As part of our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of ClimaTech, we’ve eliminated plastic lanyards at all global events, so all passes will be printed on compostable cardstock. Please don’t attempt to print your pass prior to arrival.

Bring a Reusable Water Bottle

We ask that you please bring a reusable water bottle with you to ClimaTech. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we will not have single-use cups available, and water refilling stations will be located throughout both venues and at venue bars.

Special Events & Expo Floor

There is a whole world of connection, discussion and celebration beyond the sessions and panels at ClimaTech 2024. Together with our partners, we have curated a unique set of experiences for our delegates during the week.

First and foremost will be the presenters at our industry-leading Innovation Expo Floor, only available on Tuesday, June 4th at MGM Music Hall. Nearly 20 participating startups, accelerators, and leading global institutions will showcase research, opportunity, and the future of Climate Technology, so make time to browse and meet.

Further, there are several Special Events, including a Delegates Cocktail Hour at House of Blues on Wednesday after our closing session, as well as several invitation-only experiences. You must RSVP for any invitation-only events, please check the arrival details in each invitation.

Lounges & Meeting Space

In both Lansdowne Street venues, we will have complimentary soft drinks and light bites throughout the programming days.

We encourage delegates to visit the Delegates Lounge on the Second Floor of MGM Music Hall inside the Jim Beam Lounge especially during session and lunch breaks. There will be ample casual and small group meeting areas within the lounge, on the loge balcony, and on the main Music Hall floor.

Additionally, special coffee services will be provided in Theater 4 – the Mass Mutual Lounge at MGM Music Hall, and Theater 2 – the Restaurant at House of Blues. All sessions are first-come first-serve until capacity, and all are accessible to any registered delegate.

All Speakers and Partners will have access to the VIP Speakers Lounge at House of Blues. Direct invitation and registration will be provided to Session owners and Speakers. Soft drinks and light catering will be provided there during both programming days.

Code of Conduct & Best Practices

Across all ClimaTech venues, and in keeping with any Emerald X live experiences, we follow a code of conduct and encourage all attendees to review and abide. With priorities of health & safety, accessibility, and sustainability we do our best to offer a complete event experience to all delegates. Please review the below before attending:

  • Public health, in light of adapting standards post-pandemic, is a continuing emphasis for all our venue partners, the City of Boston, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. ClimaTech will follow the most current venue guidelines and announce any specific attendee needs via our Social Media Channels and Home Page
  • Currently there are no vaccination or mask restrictions at any of our venues, however, we encourage all attendees to be thoughtful and avoid public gatherings if they feel ill. Streaming is available via the Website, as will be Video-On-Demand for one week post-event, so get well and keep our larger attendee population safe.
  • Walking and public transportation arrival methods are readily available and encouraged at all event spaces
  • Delegates with accessibility concerns are welcome at all of our venues. Keynote sessions are on the ground floor levels of both venues, and any other spaces have both stair and elevator options with both digital wayfinding and helpful ClimaTech staff. If you have specific questions or accessibility concerns, please contact us at register@advertisingweek.com.
  • ClimaTech is working with its venues to provide the most sustainable experience possible, given the resources and services available at each space. We encourage reusable water bottles or coffee mugs, we utilize reusable house-owned rental goods, and where single serve items are necessary, fully compostable service wares are provided.
