Hotels.com Introduces World’s First-Ever Spokesbell, Bellboy

Hotels.com recently teased that something big was coming via TikTok this April — and that something, as it turns out, is a brand-new mascot named Bellboy.

Ding Ding! It’s Bellboy!

Bellboy has more than a few titles associated with his new Hotels.com gig. You can refer to him as a brand mascot or an ambassador or a spokesbell, the latter of which he’s proud to say he’s the first one in the world.

Born on April 21, Bellboy is 18 inches tall and shaped like a bell complete with “ding!” sound effects. He’s described as a “desk clerk with the best perks” in his intro video, musically inclined (he writes and sings his own jingles!) and is somewhat chronically online. Bellboy is a massive travel enthusiast and plans to share his inside scoop on booking discounts available through Hotels.com via social media.

I prefer ‘hospitality visionary,’” said Bellboy. “Few things bring me more pleasure than watching someone score a free room upgrade or enjoy the same pool for less money than everyone else. Bellboy, did you just say 20% off?! According to the spokesbell, there are thousands of member-only deals available for up to 20% off on Hotels.com. (For all the non-Hotels.com members reading this… yes we know 20% is less than 50%. But, as Bellboy explains in yet another catchy TikTok jingle, 20% is also more than 0%.) Travel enthusiasts can expect to hear some of Bellboy’s top hotel hacks and tips for getting the most out of using Hotels.com’s tools — like Hotel Price Alerts — on Instagram and TikTok in the coming weeks.
