New York, NY — April 12, 2022 — Advertising Week announced today that it has promoted Ruth Mortimer to the position of Global President. In her newly appointed position, Mortimer will continue to oversee Advertising Week’s global thought leadership and education programs. Her role will expand to include marketing and branded and digital content.
Mortimer has been instrumental in establishing the event-based Advertising Week into a global, year-round hub for content, education and thought leadership for the marketing, advertising, media and technology industries.

Mortimer joined Advertising Week in April 2019 as Managing Director, Global Education and Development, to lead AWLearn, Advertising Week’s education platform, and Advertising Week’s global thought leadership programs. Before joining Advertising Week, Mortimer held many roles in managing content businesses and product development. She was managing partner at award-winning digital marketing training business Econsultancy, where she oversaw product development and thought leadership.
