KINGS OF ENTERTAINMENT ANT & DEC JOIN THE ADVERTISING WEEK EUROPE LINEUP
TV STARS AND CONTENT CREATORS CLARA AMFO, MUNYA CHAWAWA AND FRANCIS BOURGEOIS ARE ALSO SET TO TAKE THE STAGE
3 May 2022, London – Advertising Week Europe, the continent’s largest annual gathering of marketing, advertising, media and technology leaders, has today announced some of the biggest stars of screen and social as speakers, in collaboration with their management company, leading global talent agency YMU Group.
After two years of successful virtual events, Advertising Week Europe returns to its home in Picturehouse Central in London between the 17-19 May 2022, with a stellar cast of brands, founders, influencers, presenters, futurists and politicians set to deliver an agenda spanning innovation, creativity and tech across seven stages to explore this year’s theme of ‘Creative Capital.’
Ant & Dec will take the stage, along with their management team at YMU, to talk first-hand about what ‘creative capital’ means to them and how creative collaboration has been at the heart of their TV shows and partnerships over so many years.
They will also discuss how they put their audience at the heart of their content, the success of their creative collaboration with brand partners such as Santander and Tik Tok, how investing in reaching new audiences through their social channels has unlocked new opportunities, and the projects that excite them most as they look ahead to the future.
Popular content creators also managed by YMU, including social media star Francis Bourgeois, comedian Munya Chawawa, whose viral satirical videos have been seen by millions globally, and much loved Radio 1 and TV personality Clara Amfo, who has interviewed the likes of Jay-Z and Billie Eilish, will also appear on the headline stage.
They will talk openly about their first-hand experiences of creating content that resonates with Gen Z audiences, partnering with brands that align to their values, and the intersection of entertainment, culture, music and fashion.
As part of the partnership with YMU Group, the leading talent agency representing an impressive global roster of leading TV stars, music artists, sports figures, creators, thought-leaders and authors, will also be hosting invite-only events for marketers and its talent at Advertising Week Europe.
YMU works with many of the UK’s leading brands and advertisers to develop high-impact talent and influencer marketing campaigns — as well as cultivating deeper partnerships with talent through podcasts, consumer events, NFTs & Web3 activations, IP & product development (through YMU’s Ventures division) and publishing, amongst other areas.
YMU Commercial Director Leon Harlow comments: “We’re excited to partner with Advertising Week Europe this year and for our talent and creators — including Ant & Dec, Clara Amfo, Munya Chawawa, and Francis Bourgeois — to be able to share first-hand their experiences of collaborating creatively with brands and platforms, as we continue to build partnerships together in new and innovative ways.’
Advertising Week Global President Ruth Mortimer comments: “We’re thrilled to partner with YMU and welcome talent from their incredible roster to the stage in person at Picturehouse Central. This year’s theme of Creative Capital provides the perfect framework to explore London’s contribution to the global creative landscape, and these names are pioneers in collaborating with brands and showing how audiences need to be at the heart of any content.”
YMU’s Riyadh Khalaf will also be hosting the Amazon Studio at Advertising Week Europe – a three-day broadcast with a mix of interviews, virtual sessions and original filmed content. Khalaf is an Irish TV and radio broadcaster, author, activist and YouTube personality who won BBC’s Celebrity Masterchef in 2020.
Speakers and content continue to be announced for Advertising Week Europe ahead of 16 May. Registration for the 2022 edition is now open at https://advertisingweek.com/event/aweurope2022/.
