Watch the Yard and Advertising Week are partnering again this fall to bring YARDCON to AWNewYork (October 18-21).
A digital conference for Black student creators to come together, YARDCON helps students prepare for the professional world. Originally created in the early stages of the pandemic when universities shut down across the country, YARDCON has grown into a community of students looking to learn, develop new skills and build their careers. This past February, Advertising Week and Watch the Yard hosted a week-long event, inviting the creative, media and tech industries to host workshops, mentor students and hire intern and entry-level positions.
Following the success and impact of the February event, we are partnering again with ambition to scale the impact at Advertising Week New York. Expanding beyond students, we’ll host mentorship sessions and facilitate one on one interviews to diversify our collective industry’s networks and talent pipelines.
