NEW YORK/JOHANNESBURG/LONDON/TOKYO/MEXICO CITY/SYDNEY — 1 February 2023 – Advertising Week, the world’s largest annual gathering of marketing, media and technology leaders, announces the global expansion of its Startup Acceleration program in partnership with HartBeat. The startup program is the latest extension of Advertising Week’s global partnership with HartBeat, which already includes events, original content, podcasts and thought leadership.

Advertising Week’s Startup Accelerator identifies, educates and connects high-growth media, marketing and technology start-ups with the advertising, marketing and investment community. The program creates value for the entire ecosystem by helping marketers solve their biggest challenges with the latest and most relevant startup solutions.

Startups will have the opportunity to learn and network with the world’s top marketers, thought leaders and investment mentors. In addition, participants will have strategic amplification access to the Advertising Week Global platform, Startup Community and Extended HartBeat network. The innovation program will connect startups to AW constituents around the globe, including brands, agencies, media companies, investment and more.

The program will take place across five continents as part of the AW global event series:

  • AWEurope, London: 16-18 May
  • AWAsia, Tokyo: 6-8 June
  • AWAPAC, Sydney: 1-2 August

“The Accelerator was a big smash in New York and London in 2022. We saw thirty-plus startups work closely with our panel of experts, and the founders were able to learn and build business connections through the program,” says Ruth Mortimer, Advertising Week’s Global President “Partnering with HartBeat allows us to expand our global footprint and discover amazing new innovation and talents across the world, starting in Africa next month.”
